A truly multi-purpose short sea/coastal vessel:

The vessel has a total length of 86 meters and a width of 20 meters. It was designed by Multi Maritime in Førde with the type designation MM 85 CC LNG and is designed for flexible and combined shipping of general cargo, refrigerated cargo and container cargo. An unloading system has also been installed on board for efficient delivery of fish feed to salmon farms along the Norwegian coast. The new ship is also equipped with a special side hatch suitable for loading and unloading many types of goods.
TAKES CARE OF THE ENERGY
The vessel can operate in different modes, with LNG as fuel or in hybrid mode with batteries. The batteries can be charged via axle generators and diesel generators. Oddrun With is also equipped with a regeneration technology which ensures that energy is stored from the weight of the load in the main crane and pallet lift during unloading and loading of the installed batteries. The batteries can also be charged using shore power during port stays.

The shipping company states that the idea is to operate the ship fully electrically for periods, for example in and out of port areas or when the ship is docked.
COOLING FROM GAS CONVERSION
The freezer compartments in the hold can be cooled down to -27 degrees Celcius, either via their own cooling system or alternatively via a cold recovery system when the natural gas used as fuel converts from liquid to gaseous form. This is one of the first vessels with this type of innovative technology for transporting frozen goods and will provide major savings in the use of energy.
CLASS
Oddrun With is classified in DNV and has been given the notation 1A General dry cargo ship Battery(Power) Clean Container E0 Gas fueled Ice(C) RM(-27 °C/+25 °C sea) TMON(oil lubricated). The ship will fly the Norwegian flag with Trondheim as its home port.
