What’s sweet is that any of the books for dummies are a huge scam and the authors are making a killing off of them…

Authors don’t make much anymore unless they are a celebrity or sell their book to hollywood. It’s the publisher’s parent companies and the retailers (Amazon mostly) that get the bank.

Not that you can’t make a living writing books but don’t quite your day job… being a dpo is certainly easier and more profitable ;(

Thats actually quite sad. Amazon should hire editors and become their own publisher, that way they can pay the authors more (which will attract more authors and madge amazon more money). Especially if they “publish” ebooks only…
