I received my new certificate today and it is no longer a laminated piece of paper it is now like a driver’s license. Will fit in the TWIC card slot of the MMC.
How long did it take for you to get yours from the time you sent in to the time you got it back?
I sent it the end of July but did not send original certificate, sea time letters, log book ect. Took about a month for them to contact me. I thought with scanning everything it would be sufficient but no. Finally sent originals in September and they quickly sent a letter which allows you to work while certificate is being processed. If you do everything like they want it would be less than 3 months. Even with the delay mine was just slightly over 3 months.
I got mine back in about 65 days.
