Anyone who uses the Discourse app on their phone for the forum notice that it sucks all of a sudden? Lots of ads, doesn’t keep place in the posts that you read.
Is there a better app out there to use the forum on?
Yes, I was going to start a topic too.
Ads drop down from the top and cover buttons, random ads pop up mid-thread.
Biggest issue is the app losing track of what you’ve read and losing count of comments in a thread, dumping you back mid-thread whenever you open one. Shows topics as New when already read.
Something changed in the last week and a half and the user interface went to shit. Thought maybe it was to push a paid version but there isn’t even an option to upgrade.

Forum.gCaptain.com on safari works great for me. I had the app for a while but it was clunky. I have no issues using my phone’s browser.
Same here, I use Firefox with Ublock on dang near everything about and it works great for me.
Maybe it’s something to do with the website? Because now I’m getting the same terrible pop up ads using the site on my phone too.
Are you using Chrome? They just had an update that disabled ad blockers
No, Safari on an iPhone.

I use Firefox with ad blockers on IOS.
See, but I’ve used Discourse for the sole purpose of this forum for, at least 10 years probably? In the last week it went to shit.

It’s crazy how just 1 update can ruin an app or game or what have you.
