Just a reminder that we don’t have a dedicated app because our forum works great on almost any browser but you can use a great app called “Discourse Hub” which is available in the apple or android stores.
Once installed click the + button then add the following line without the quotes:
“forum.gcaptain.com”
You can also add the icon to your home screen to have app like launchung functionality without tying up your browser.
I’ve been using the Discourse app for several years just for this forum. Works very well.
The default browser at USCG is still Internet Explorer and it doesn’t work on that. We do have chrome, but it’s not the default. I can’t count how many times I have sent links to gCaptain and gotten a response “I get an error message that it won’t work on my browser.”
