New gCaptain Forum iPhone App - BETA testers needed

gCaptain has partnered with Forum Runner to launch a new iPhone app that let’s you browse and participate in the forum via your iPhone (or iPad or iPod Touch) or Android device.

Once completed you will simply need to visit the forum on your device and a pop-up will prompt you with a link to download the app.

The app will be free of charge but we need testers. Those interested please follow the link below:

Install the app (it does cost $2), open the app then click “search” and enter “gCaptain”.

The app [I]will[/I] be FREE but right now it costs $2.

It’s the developer’s policy… but if you feel strongly about wanting to help us test the app and not paying the 2 bucks… gCaptain will reimburse you via paypal.

I just bought it, will give some feedback after a few days use. Using it on a 3G 8GB phone …
$2.00 is a pittance when compared to the value of the knowledge I have gotten from reading this board !

I got it. So far it looks good.

Using it now on my IPhone with wifi connection. Loading the threads is very fast. Only complaint so far is that there is no “load new content” button.

I’m using the iPad version, and in the iPad Settings menu (and I assume the iPhone version is the same) the app has many settings that can be tailored to fit your preferences. Have you looked there?

Just installed the iPhone version. The settings are the same as the iPad version.

I’m liking this app a lot. Two thumbs up.

The new (free) app is now live!

Simply visit the forum on your iphone, ipad or android device and you’ll be prompted with a link to install the app.
