I’m upgrading to 2M unlimited and renewing at the same time. and I’m looking at the requirements checklist according to USCG. It says CPR and First Aid is required for original. Does that mean since it’s my first time having a 2M license I need those classes done too?
No. You’re doing a Raise in Grade.
It also says “Original only.” If you are upgrading from another license, 2nd mate is not “original.”
