Covid and Small Passenger Vessels

I hold a master’s license and work primarily aboard subchapter T boats, inshore ferries and US domestic passenger/sightseeing vessels. These are 100 ton vessels doing day trips, charters, and dinner cruises etc

I’m wondering if anyone can advise or direct me to information concerning regulations or guidance for post-COVID operations. I am concerned about the potential liability and responsibility for passengers health and safety as the master of the vessel. So far, I have found some CDC info regarding cruise ships and international voyaging but nothing that specifically references smaller vessels operating in the passenger trades.

I will be contacting my local USCG branch for guidance. Just wondering if there are any other small vessel mariners here with thoughts or information.

I would recommend that you check out the Passenger Vessel Association. They have some COVID recommendations.
