Not sure how you can verify who is wearing or not wearing masks based on their political beliefs. I do believe our young people could help this situation a bit better by being more responsible regarding mask wearing and large group gatherings.

100% agree but people are stupid. Seat belts save lives but until it was a law people still refused to wear them, some suicidal fools still refuse.
I often wonder if polio and small pox would have ever been eradicated in the USA if people’s attitudes about isolation and anti-vax had been the same as they are now. Seems sometimes the US is devolving.
From a CBS News poll over the weekend;
73% of Republicans believe America’s C19 response is going well.
64% believe there have been fewer deaths than reported.
57% believe the number of deaths haven been acceptable.
Such beliefs aren’t, in my opinion, going to inspire many such believers to wear masks.
I don’t follow polls but if this one is true logical thinking has been abandoned. Wish the poll had asked about the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and zombies so we’d know what we’re dealing with.
