Police and ship staff searched the ship to round up the “Coastal Hostesses” cheered on by inebriated crew. Another search was conducted at anchor and the “sweethearts” brought ashore in the pilot boat.

The Britannia jacket was launched the same way. The jacket had a $1,000,000 ballast control room installed just for the installation.
