I have been under their Time Charters on 3 or 4 occasions ( NYPE time charter parties with plenty of rider clauses and ass covering tricks).

They, having been completely free from any resposibility regarding navigation ( under time charter) they are specialising in putting ship master into all kinds of shit by application of commercial pressure, fantastic loading plans requiring the vessel to streatch lenghtwise,breadthwise and draftwise and expecting your Plimsol mark to be on the funnel and sailing in all kinds of weather , preferably going through the eye of the storm then circumnavigating it.

Saying, that they are Mafia Shipping Company or More Shit Coming is saying nothing.

But what a fantastic training and learning ground for the master/choff!!!.

You go through this fire w/o a scratch and may become Megalodon yourself :winking_face_with_tongue:
Of course one need to work hard in supporting his/her lucky star .

Mine is still shining although dimmed mightily by 24+ months of happy retirement, where nothing exciting happens except some stupid skirmishes/duels on gCaptain forum :winking_face_with_tongue: .

Without it I suspect I would probably be in stiff park dying of boredom after such tumultuous life/experience under time charter parties.
