Is all over the Shipping News that all Container Shipping Companies are making huge profits every year, but any of Top Management (Owners) of those Companies are aware about Life, Safety and Quality on board?
Does any of these persons have any idea about how / what their ‘Ship managers’ are really doing?

MSC(Mediterranean Shipping Co. - Cyprus) is one example of worst Shipmanagement, Crew Management, Safety and Quality on board - Mr. D’Aponte for sure is not aware about conditions(unsafe and unhygienic) on board his Fleet ‘managed and operated’ by Indian Team in Cyprus. Is important to make money, only - doesn’t matter how!
With actual Man Power crisis the situation will get worse and crew change will become critical(it is already).

it’s the nature of profitable business, matson on the Hawaii runs is a different story amongst some others. There are often videos on u tube about “life on the high seas” or something but i don’t watch long. Invariably it’s a foreign flag story and quite a bit different that my career.
