Gary Boss absolutely doesn’t want to bankrupt the company. He doesn’t want to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. That isn’t what I am talking about. I am saying that Gary Boss may use the situation with oil in the GOM to take advantage of the poor slobs who don’t know any different. That would be what some call “good business”. The poor slobs being the guys who lost their matching 401K and travel pay but are “lucky to have a job”. You have no way of knowing what the situation is with Gary Boss. He could have taken a 25% cut himself or given himself a 25% raise. You have no way to find out. Gary Boss doesn’t want the poor slobs to know how much him and his family actually make.
Too big to fail? I don’t think so. Everyone seems to think that Mr. Gary makes billions on everything. It could be that he is getting stretched thin and forced to capitulate due to debt load. The old rule that if you want to have a million dollars… take 2 million and start a boat company. Or round that up for scale and inflation… If you want a billion dollars… take 2 billion and start a boat load of companies. He wouldn’t be the first and won’t be the last. Certainly been bigger companies fail, it ain’t like he has magic powers. As been mentioned many times over, they are a private company with private books. You can type all the conjecture you want but you don’t and won’t ever know for sure.
