Hello I am about to get a new choke manifold built for a land based rig I am working on.
This will be a 10K WP system, non sour gas for conventional formation use.
Est formation pressure gradient .4876psi/ft
Drilling around 4000-5000m wells
My question is choice of Choke type. Is there anyone out there who could help me weigh up the pro’s and cons of Positive closing (Full close) and Non Positive closing chokes for our new manifold.
All help and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
