China’s super trawlers are stripping the ocean bare as its hunger for seafood grows
The world’s fisheries are in crisis. The United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organisation estimates 90 per cent of them have collapsed and China is the major player in their demise.
I don’t think China is the only one to blame the United States and Japan along with several other nations have done their fair share also. It would be great if we could manage fishing on a global scale it’s a great resource that’s being depleted rapidly. I doubt any meaningful change will come until its too late.
