Can I get up the channel to Houma at 13’6" draft?
Anything over about 12’ as I recall will have you dredging most of the way. Been a while since I made that run though.
There are a couple of 14’ spots. I know of several tugs that have gone through the canal in the last year with a draft greater than 13’6". They had to be careful with the squat, though.
Stay in clutch and you should be fine. At about cocadrie it deepens up.
With no problems.
Have you tried looking at the Corps of Engineers soundings for that channel?
Made it just fine. Thanks all for the input.
