Given these deportation statistics why are some people so convinced that prior POTUS’s supported open borders and somehow allowed or enabled an “invasion”?
It appears that current POTUS is the least prolific deporter. Is it simply his “tough talk” rather than actual action that makes people think he is actually different from prior POTUS’s in terms of immigration enforcement? It appears that current POTUS is actually a less effective deporter, if deportations are indeed the antithesis of an “open border” (whatever that means).
Perhaps it isn’t enforcement that some people want. In reality they are looking for cruelty. Cruel and heartless words, stealing children from their parents with no plan to return them and thousands to this day still not reunited, showy shipments to “liberal” cities that accomplish nothing but more expense, photo ops in front of ineffective walls and foreign prisons. So many of these actions are bluster and posturing and showmanship, rather than real policy or solutions or enforcement. None of it speaks to the sort of ideals embodied in our founding documents or in the Bible that many claim to hold so dear.

I don’t vouch for the statistics. But it follows if they resemble reality in even a rough way they conclusively demonstrate the lawfare directed against Trump.
All the cruelty you describe is a direct result of the enticement of open borders which, as you know, means people walk into USA illegally but face no consequences. If you don’t have a border you don’t have a nation.
You are or were being invaded as other European nations are now understanding. Vast numbers of incompatible cultures eventually destroy what it is to be American, British, French or whatever.
We in Australia took strong action and vowed that nobody who entered illegally would ever stay. It’s working. We have a large legal immigration subject to our control.

Wow! Just wow! I’m done as I know I’ve probably said before. Your attitude that some cultures are “incompatible” with America is disgusting. We are a nation of immigrants and that is what has made us so great and so resilient and so innovative and so successful. Go ahead and build your walls and isolate yourself from the world and its “incompatibles cultures”, whatever that means. It sounds like some gross dog whistle from the days of eugenics and racial superiority. I find it repulsive. Ask the ancient Chinese how well isolation worked until they were finally divvied up by the powerful European countries, or how many Islamic countries were once dynamic centers of learning and science until they stuck their heads in the sand. Stick your head in the sand and ignore science, pretend global warming isn’t a problem, and act like rioters in our very capitol were simply peaceful tourists. Meanwhile we in America will open our doors to those who want to come and be a part of our great nation and our great democratic experiment and we will continue to improve with each successive generation, learning from the mistakes of our past and striving to be the most successful nation the world has ever known, the shining city on the hill, a beacon of hope for the world, and symbol of freedom for the oppressed regardless of what their culture may be. May they come and join us with free spirits and hard work as we strive to do better for our descendants and the world. God Bless America and all her children who are descendants of every country in the world!

Tourism is tanking faster than the stock market.
Why? Maybe it has something to do with how a couple of German teenage backpackers were treated because they admitted to not having reservations for every place they intended to visit (or maybe not visit) during their adventure holiday.
America is now on the growing number of nations on the “do not visit” lists published by free countries around the world.

The insanity continues. Republican U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan proposes erasing the Passenger Vessel Services Act (PVSA) to punish Canada for fighting Trump’s insane trade war.
The next step for Canada should be to close the Inside Passage to American flag vessels of all sizes. Maybe airspace as well and make sure the world knows exactly why they are responding to the idiot in chief at such a dramatic level.
All of this can be prevented or stopped very quickly, impeach and convict Trump and flush the Washington toilet.

The advice I’m getting is buy a cheap phone, you can’t buy a burner phone in NZ. Use it for a couple of weeks staying away from anything controversial and take that to the US and leave laptops and everything else at home.
