then again seamen are like doctors, once you have the ticket you never get checked for the rest of your life

On SIRE audits I’ve been asked to show evidence of BRM and ECDIS before. Originals? Probably not. But I always carried paper copies of my GMDSS, Radar Observer, and the two aforementioned.
