Captain of the C-Retriever Unveils the Truth

I was honored and humbled to have the opportunity to tell the story of Captain Wren Thomas who, along with his Chief Engineer was hijacked and kidnapped off Nigeria last October.

Here it is: http://gcaptain.com/captain-wren-thomas-kidnapped-off-nigeria-c-retriever/

Thanks Rob for getting Captain’s story- I have no doubt your posts and updates during their captivity helped expedite their release. Note to self- forget working Nigeria, especially for ECO.

Agreed. The things that the guys at gCaptain do should never be under-estimated, even if they themselves don’t necessarily know how much good they’ve done until things have come to pass. We are all eternally grateful for your presence in our industry, John, Rob, and Mikey (and whoever else you have with you whose name(s) I don’t know) and we thank you for the influence that you have. It’s nice to know that someone who knows the difference between the pointy end and the flat end is looking out for us from time to time.

This got picked up by Fox News too.

I agree but I thought it was funny that in the article on NBC they credited themselves with the interview and then Rob and gCaptain got a little mention wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down the bottom.
