I am a bad speller, but atleast I have an excuse, I went to school in Alabama.
I think the kids now days are so hung up on the text message crap that they don’t know how to spell anymore. I mean only in there world can the phrase O.K. be shortened to K, just to save a millisecond of time.
Whenever someone replies to me with “k”, I reply with this.

The one ride I owned that I sold AND MADE MONEY ON… I miss it. Somebody just HAD to have it so I said OK.
Well crap I can’t paste it. 1979 Caddy Hearse… with org curitans and the rollers and coffin hook/tool still in the back. I even had a custom tag - UNDERTKR…lol

I am sorry to have to ask this but why do people in the South venerate that somehow not being educated as being worthy and commendable? It somehow seems to remain part of the rough hewn Rebels against the elitist Yankees…does in not?
Of course, Rebel_Rider1969 is a southerner in the North but we all know about the culture of the UP. Just busting your chops Reb…you’re ok in my book and congrats on the new job! Perseverance always pays bigger dividends on the investment made.
ps…I’ve got a neighbor with a '71 Caddy hearse for sale…you want me to get the # for him?

Thanks C.Capt!
Right now I could not buy a redbug a wrassling jacket! Later I can get a few choice toys. I think I need an old army multi-fuel duece!
Yeah, I’ve noticed that the locals here are just as if not more backwards it’s a really strange place but the fishing is to die for!

I realize there is a big difference between not having a formal education, and just being plain dumb. I have worked up north, on the east coast, the great lakes, and all over the world for that matter. Being born and raised in the south, it seems like every time I tell a yankee where I am from, they automatically paint you as being dumb and uneducated. I guess after you hear it so many times it just kind of becomes automatic as a response. It is just a joke we all laugh about it, I don’t think anybody gets mad or actually takes any of it serious. Hopefully not.

Built by the same Kaiser Corporation that built over 2000 ships in WWII! GOD I WISH I GOT TO BE AROUND THEN!

Hell yeah! When I was in the army I’d volenteer to drive the deuce. Esp if the mechanics had taked the gay govener off, screw the hummer.
I missed a cherry one about 5 months ago, $4,400.00 LIKE NEW. Some older guy had it an I think he used to clean it with a toothbrush. Even had the orginal canvas top. Every screw, bolt, lens cover, safty chain, and even the pioneering tools and cans. Purred like a kitten. Dammit I’m still pissed about that one. Someday!
Before I sold the hearse I was gonna put “OBAMACARE” on both sides of it…but i did not want to mess up the premium vinal top…lol I also had toyed with the idea of making an “El Camino” out of it. Yeee haaww!
I put a pix of the hearse in my photo album on my profile. Check it out. I really think it would have been an awsome el camino conversion.

Awesome ride there Reb…but instead of an El Camino conversion if you had kept her, I’d have said to take the hearse body and mount it to a 3/4ton 4x4 frame something like thus:
except that yours would have been so unbelievably kick ass compared to this effing POS…and to think you would have a 4x4 for huntin in as well! Not just dead deer on the hood but a whole pile of dead deer in the back as well…all in little coffins!
Yeah, that would have been cool. Did you know that a new hearse costs about 80K? crazy huh?
68’ Mercury…good father and son project car. cCapt, you could adopt Reb and go to town on the old girl, then take a road trip up to Escanaba in da moonlight!

…Escanaba in the moonlight. Love it!
You make Jeff Daniels proud…

Nah! Reb and I are goin in together on a Kaiser M35A1 deuce but it has to have full canvas, a pto winch and the machine gun ring for a 50cal. Ain’t gonna think about one without it! Of course, gotta figure out how to get the gun as well but those are just details. Do you know that gun is basically unchanged from when it was first produced just before the start of WWII? Talk about the perfect personal machine cannon!
fire in the hole!
.
When I was stationed at USCG Cape Disappointment, we had our own range for staying qualified on our weapons. We had a 50 cal. and boy was it a blast making sand out of boulders!
I’m sure you can appreciate these specimens as well.
