Those numbers could be accurate only because I believe that ship is chartered to MSC so this wages would reflect 8 to 10 months a year. I seriously doubt a Crowley ship would pay those wages on a 6 month basis.

i agree with you 100%, but if i a guy says 75 on 75 off, then I gotta believe at least that part is correct. Something is clearly amissā¦
Knowing people on both the Empire and Evergreen State tankers. They are owned by Kinder Morgan, while Crowley provides Technical and Crewing management. Both vessels are on MSC charter. They do hold true to the 75/75 rotation as best they can even when overseas. The pay rates stated with the most recent raises are within the ballpark. The non MSC tankers are about 10-15% lower and running in the gulf of mexico. The Florida and Pennsylvania, both Crowley owned tankers, are about the same as the Non-MSC state class ships.
I read on gCaptain that Crowley pays slave wages and AMO is racing to the bottom. Now you throw out actual numbers from an actual source and weāre supposed to believe it???
I skimmed over and missed the 75 day part
So yeah something isnāt right. I will believe those rates when I see it. 100k for 3rd maybe but 180 for mate? Those are above Matson wages and when your talking a combo of Crowley under an AMO contract, I would have to see proof
Haha, I guess weāll see.
Hey, at least you didnāt go to law schoolā¦and graduate into a brutal job market with 200k of non-dischargable debt. New graduate lawyers are trying to choose between paying the rentā¦and eating.
Thatās what I hear! My wife and I managed to scrape by on my E1-E4 pay while in the Navy. Anything more than that will be a huge boost in our standard of living.
