If you read the old threads on gCaptain, you’ll read posters saying, “I don’t care what POTUS said, as long as the stock market is up!"
Now that the stock market is down, they still don’t care what he says.
They don’t care whether he lies or tells the truth. The health of the stock market wasn’t really his attraction. The fact that there is no Wall, N. Korea still has nukes, troops are still scattered over the Middle East–none of this fazes them.
The fact that they are poorer, and locked in their houses watching the neighbors walk by with masks on, hasn’t shaken their faith in him much.
So if someone thinks it will be a Democratic landslide in November, I think they need to rethink.
