I’ve stayed off of this thread & mostly ignored it because I know it is just therapeutic venting for Anti-Trumpers but as an independent Libertarian who didn’t vote for Trump I felt compelled to chime in on the above nonsense. Time for me to vent too I guess.
I’ve heard hundreds of liberal Democrats claim prior to LBJ the Democrats & Republicans were on other ends of the political spectrum because the Democrats don’t want any part of the Democrats long history supporting of slavery & civil rights oppression. To cherry pick times & subjects of when Democrats were real Democrats & when Republican were undercovered Democrats is bullshit. So in FDR’s Jim Crow era who were supposed to be the good guys & bad guys again? All the cherry picking of political parties has me confused. Regardless, after Pearl Harbor, almost everyone mostly put the political partisanship aside for the sake of the nation & fought for their lives. Kudos to them.
That is exactly the opposite of what the Democrats have done. In January when there were still time to do something about the coronavirus the ruling party of the House, all the Democrats in the Senate & the majority of the American media spent 100% of their time & energy on 1 thing & 1 thing only, “Impeach Trump”. Even the liberals on this forum didn’t care about the coronavirus & every other thread was about getting rid & insulting Trump. Obviously under a direct attack Trump & his supporters did what they could from a defensive stance. How many lives were saved by the impeachment farce? Not a fucking one!!! I had to stop to think & remember what that useless impeachment & wasted time was all about. Off the top of my head I first thought Russia conclusion but no, it was about a phone call that I read 4 times that sounds like any other phone call between politicians. The Democrats & the anti-Trump media royally fucked the American people & are complicit in the deaths of over 70,000 covid19 victims with their bullshit political distractions of January '20. They will never admit it though because they are a bunch of dumbasses who still are focused one 1 thing & 1 thing only which is getting back at Trump for winning. And it’s sad because they would be tickled pink if everyone in the nation was unemployed & bankrupt because their political strategists told them that would increase the chances of Trump losing finally. I wish the US could get January '20 back but unfortunately I believe the Democrats wouldn’t use a redo to prevent coronavirus but would put 100% of their energies to Impeaching Trump for some other piece of bullshit.
That’s my 2 cents. Consider me vented.
