The media is reporting an oil spill from a tank farm on the New Jersey side of the Arthur Kill across from Staten Island. This tank farm is just north of the Outerbridge. The New Jersey Responder ties up at a pier almost adjacent to this tank farm. Very convenient.

Oop’s. Further investigation leads us to understand this happened a couple of days ago. Sorry bout that. Oh my God, here comes the guy with the pointy stick.
Imagine if that spill would have been caused by a barge or tanker. Every politician in NY/NJ would have been screaming to prosecute and fine!
