ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
That’s a real shame, I remember reading about the Sea Lion just a couple months ago on Tugster, or one of those NYH blogs. Nice looking boat. Glad to see all four people on board made it off alive, at least that’s what it sounded like. I hope they all make it home safe to their families tonight.
The article lists it as 38’, but the documented length is 64.7’ at 95GRT.
I don’t know of a 38’ Sea Lion operating in and around NY Harbor. I know Willies boat was bigger than 38’.
Am I missing something or was there two different Tugs that sank next to Long Beach this week?
That’s the same location the Tug “Pushy” was right?

Yup, that would be two separate towing vessels. Subchapter M can’t come fast enough!
