Working for Diamond Drilling

Hey all,

I heard Diamond was building some drillships. I have never heard any word good or bad about them and was wondering if anyone working for,or has worked for them has any thing to say. I looked on their web site and their benifits looked pretty good, are those about average for a drilling company? I saw a position for BCO but none for mate/dpo which is what I would want.

I’m taking basic DPO right now and there is a woman in the class who works for Diamond. She said they are doing away with the BCO position. And , yes, they are building a drillship or two.

I would also like to get some info about Diamond. I hold a 2nd Eng. Unlimited, Looking to make a move… ASAP If anyone knows of anybody looking for a 2nd Eng. Let me know… Thks and be safe everyone

I hear Noble is looking for engineers but I would try Seadrill , Ensco or Transocean first.

This is a time in the Oil industry when almost everyone is hiring or will be soon.
Diamond only takes snail mail applications though.
