No I wasn’t suggesting waiting. I was just observing that this act was different in that it occurred far from the region. I don’t remember that happening before.

Been surprisingly quiet regarding the Iranian ships that were hanging around Venezuela that caused such a “kerfuffle” not too long ago. Did they go home without it being newsworthy?
Plus, I believe Iran legally declared war.
The US has not declared a war since WW2, it’s out of fashion these days with the last formal, Congressionally approved declaration of war by the United States was in 1942 against Axis-aligned nations.
For many major powers, formal declarations haven’t been used since WW2.

Their intel did not shown these units as an Iranian Naval inventory.
Hopefully Trump declares victory and ends this ASAP before it spirals into Iraq and Afghanistan on steroids.

He can’t declare victory until 2 generals, 1 admiral & maybe a cabinet member gets fired for something. As soon as the firings start, that’s the beginning of the end of the Iran War.

It is obvious US and Israel have won the air and naval battle. I have no doubts about it taking into account their technical and other superiority which is unmatched. However I am sceptical about them winning the war. No yet.
Added : i am glad one of my proposed options ( ok i was kidding as I copy pasted it from some smart ass commentator) has come true.
