If true, one would think this would surprise even the most objective outsider. Your ignorance is intentional or poetic.
Iâm far from ignorant, but have composed a bit of poetry in my time. I donât think you would serve well in a jury in the United States.
Now about M.T. Greene?
Itâs pronounced âEmpty Greeneâ
So what Pelosi is an outlier and just happens to consistently out perform every investment firm every year? If itâs not ignorance, what is it?
I agree. I am exempted for life for jury service in my county because of a letter I wrote to the court naming the reasons I do not believe in the system of law in my jurisdiction. I have never been selected for a federal jury.
All of them are guilty. If not for insider trading, then any other number of illicit deals or morally questionable acts. I have no loyalty to party lines, I distrust them all. I am a constitutionalist at the very core. I want the federal government out of anything not outlined in the constitution. End of story.
Makes sense as that would end states having a national guard and no appropriation for the military to last more than two years because the Constitution includes a provision that âno appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two yearsâ (Article I, Section 8, Clause 12). This clause was intended to limit the potential for a long-term standing army to be used for oppressive purposes.
That would balance the budget quick and keep the country out of overseas conflicts
For most of our nationâs history (apparently when America was great) we had a relatively small standing army/military. Even after WWI we downsized back to a small affordable military. It is only post WWII, which saw the blossoming of the perpetual military industrial complex that Republican POTUS Eisenhower warned us about.
One would have thought with the fall of Communism the lack of adversaries would have made justifying such high percentage of our wealth on military difficult, but even during the relatively peaceful Clinton years we never got the peace dividend that should have resulted from the downsizing of our military that would have been appropriate at the time.
âIf itâs not ignorance, what is it?â
Please refer to my first response to you.
Youâd think most people would say this whole âdefenseâ thing is out of control
The big BS bill wants to increase defense spending and cut 23% from everything else.
I thought it was going to be Trump again that did something dramatic to cause another 10%-20% drop, allowing the rational to reap profits from the emotional & scared. Nope, it was Israel this time.
I thought there might be a little more volatility this morning, but besides some swings in premarket it seems like mostly a shrug after the open.
A little pop in oil and defense, but otherwise .
Was considering a short term play on Lockheed after their contract cut induced drop on Wednesday but theyâre already back over and above following Iran news.
I think the MMâs are on to us, us being on to them. Thats makes it even more trickier.
