The State University of New York Maritime College is currently looking to employ officers for this year’s summer training cruise aboard EMPIRE STATE. Positions for watch standers and instructors are available for both deck, engineering and regimental officers. Senior licenses preferred, and recent sea experience required. The opportunity to assist with the at-sea, practical training of future mariners and the chance to participate in a great itinerary offered.
Salary commensurate with experience. This term appointment will begin on May 4, 2009 and end on July 12, 2009. During the training cruise, EMPIRE STATE will tentatively [I][B]call at: Miami, Gibraltar, Reykjavik, Iceland and Kiel, Germany[/B][/I]. Naval orders can be issued for MMR Officers.
