Thought this might be of interest to some of the mariners. I went to the Voith website and they have a VSP simulator. Just scroll down to the bottom of the web page and select iVSP to download the interactive program. I did, a little interesting.

Four out of five Galveston Ferries use this system but they are going with standard propulsion on a new sixth ferry coming out later this year. I haven’t seen one on dry dock yet so very much appreciate this link.

They are BLAST to operate!
They are indeed fun to run & one of the easiest sytem to learn!
