and you have a court decision that states this? if there is one I would guess it would be very limited in scope and duration. limiting travel from entire states, like Florida would be very difficult to enforce. More damage is being done from over reactions like keeping kids out of school then the virus itself.

??? We got a guy in the oval office, that cancelled the travel ban on middle-eastern countries prone to terrorist activities, but canex’d travel from Brazil & Europe. . . He keeps the border to Canada closed, but opens up the southern border AND lets those folks in without COVID tests. . .

So NO, HE DOESN’T have the MORAL authority to restrict interstate travel. Florida is pretty much open, and has as much COVID as Cali which is mostly closed. . .

Frankly, your extreme control measures seem more inline with dictator countries [China, Russia, NOKO, Iran, etc …

The USCG can not and does not actively enforce most of the rules and regulations on the books now UNLESS something bad happens. Luckily for management.

Do you REALLY think they are going to be able to actively enforce this gem?

Last I looked, something bad has happened, and is continuing to happen. We’ve lost about as many people to Covid as we did to WWII.

The third wave of Covid that was caused by reckless super spreader Holiday travelers is in decline, but don’t become complacent.

The fourth wave fueled by the much much more contagious and somewhat more deadly UK variant is at 1100 known cases today. Health authorities predict that the Uk variant will be the predominant strain in the US as soon as March.

The even worse South African variant is here too. It may become a more deadly fifth wave of Covid.

We are not out of the woods yet. The worst may be yet to come.

It amazes me that we have so many Covid Deniers. It amazes me that a third of the US population is unwilling to be vaccinated.

If the Covid Deniers and anti-vaxers are allowed to continue to spread Covid, it will take 10 years before Covid is sufficiently under control for life to return to normal.

I certainly agree that it is insane to throw open the Southern Border to anyone and everyone without regard to Covid.

We do not know yet, but it looks like Covid is here to stay” - Albert Bourla, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Pfizer Inc.
