You ever notice that this never gets covered by CNN, FOX, CBS or any other news media report? Billions of dollars wasted but no one makes a peep. That’s regulatory and news capture on steroids.

tengineer1 hit the nail on the head about mainstream media not covering important US Navy issues, except when convenient for bolstering politicians and/or a political party, be it liberal or conservative.
yacht_sailor’s comment about reporting kinda misses the mark. Sure, these issues get reported, but mostly by maritime-related sources, so that’s how “WE” know about the glaring issues that have been incorporated into many recent and not-so-recent USN shipbuilding programs, and as well onto the USN Sea Power responsibilities to the American public. Further, the USN, as well as it’s sister branches of the US military, have lost their way regarding the absolute need to keep “wokeness” as far away as possible from sailors and troops. We should all remember the importance of military discipline and conduct.
