US Mariner DoD Contractors To Get New Job Descriptions

Who the fuck is keeping track anymore? You’re dragging facts into a loony-bin shitshow Keystone Kops-on-Krack, down-is-up and up-is-sideways administration where the only reliable fact is that the cult will back up the leader in whatever he says, no matter how many times he reverses himself on the thing he says he will never reverse himself on.

Well…the FBI director is a man. And you said she a whole bunch in there. Just checking. Nevermind.

Here’s the real reason for the Defense to War switch: to dominate the headlines as this news came out. You can see Schnitt saying all this on X. But better look at it quick before Musk deletes it, in exchange for some government contract…

DoJ Official Makes Epstein Cover-Up Claims in Hinge Date Honey Trap

Sep 05, 2025/Newsweek

A senior Department of Justice (DOJ) official told an undercover journalist there are “thousands and thousands of pages” of files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case and that if they are released by the Trump administration “they’ll redact every Republican or conservative person.”

Joseph Schnitt, currently acting deputy chief at the DOJ’s Office of Enforcement Operations made the claim while being secretly recorded on what he believed was a date, with footage posted on X by independent journalist James O’Keefe.

…Asked if the Epstein files “do exist” Schnitt replied: “There’s files for sure. There’s, yeah, thousands and thousands of pages of files.”

Schnitt said there was “internal conflict” within the Trump administration over how to handle the files. When asked what Attorney General Pam Bondi wanted to do he replied: “I don’t know what Bondi wants. Bondi wants whatever Trump wants. She’s just a yes-person.”

Schnitt went on to say if further Epstein files are released they will be “heavily redacted and his [Trump’s] name won’t be in it.”

Isn’t that the same as changing the names of bases named after distinguished graduates of American military colleges and institutions (regardless of what they did and our opinions on that subject alone) who were all already granted blanket amnesty in 1868? It was still costly — and pointless.

Not defending the name changes to DoW or Gulf of America.

Costly: yes; pointless: debatable.

Those name changes were proposed by a committee, which was created by an act of congress passed by an overwhelmingly bipartisan house and senate veto-override vote, who’s members were made up of senior military flag officers and other members nominated by ranking members of both parties. So in today’s climate actually somewhat democratic (not the party).

Do I think it was a worthwhile spend of the millions it took to do, not really. But then I’ definitely do not think it was a worthwhile spend of millions again changing some of them back three years later out of spite.

Dumbest, most performative nonsense idea since the Gulf of America, making Canada the 51st state, and invading Greenland.

We are 9 months in.

Don’t forget about paving over the rubble that was Gaza to build a big beautiful resort like the world has never seen!? The guy can be a clown. But actually, it’s one of those things I love to hate. Funny sometimes & watching the ridiculous left fall over themselves gnashing their teeth while pulling their hair out makes it worth it sometimes IMO. Probably better than a canatonic Alzheimers sufferer with an autopen, not knowing who’s really calling the shots. 9 months in & seldom a dull moment.

He didn’t know he had an autopen.

That can be debated, Here is the budget version of the change:

Have to save money were you can to cover cost of tax cuts for the billionairs.

Just to correct the error in that sentence (no, not the spelling), tax cuts don’t cost.

The government doesn’t pay anyone, so the government isn’t spending, just taxing less.

Lower taxes are always and everywhere good policy causing governments to spend less on fewer wasteful boondoggles.

And back to the renaming issue, I see a positive in that the civilian workforce within the department might now get the hint as to what the uniformed members are required to do,

Oh and we can lessen the blight of a misspelling of “defence”.

What?

When the government cuts taxes it doesn’t pay anyone in that process.

That was quite easy to understand, wasn’t it?

Not the way you wrote it the first time.

Yeah, it was.

It’s a lesson in logic from a master of the art and not open to questioning.

Hey @Jughead , one thing I think we can both agree on is that all the Epstein files should be released, unredacted, without regard to party or person. Right?

Yep!

I absolutely agree and have sent an email to my congress critter to insist the Epstein files be released ASAP to prove to my wife I am not in them. I also mentioned it would clear him of any suspicion so why not?

Anyone want to take bets on when he decides he wants to change the presidential and great seals so the eagle faces the arrows? I feel like that’s the sort of urban legend that his staff would buy in on too.
