Update on Gulf Oil Spill Weather Outlook

Update Monday May 3rd

The oil slick associated with the blowout and sinking of the Deepwater Horizon has somewhat drifted back offshore as the southeasterly winds have eased. Winds and seas are forecast to remain light to moderate and variable through the 6th then increase moderate to fresh southwesterly by the 7th shifting northerly on the 8th
