Gulf of Mexico Weather updated Thursday

Gulf of Mexico Weather update:

The oil slick resulting from the Deepwater Horizon explosion and sinking has moved little during the past couple of days due to light and variable winds which are forecast to remain (mostly force 4 or less) into Saturday. A cold front will move offshore during Saturday causing moderate to fresh northeasterly winds to develop late Saturday into Sunday veering southeasterly during Monday with mostly fresh south-easterlies prevailing Tuesday to Thursday which will increase the threat to the coastline from Louisiana to Alabama.
