Typhoon Vincente near Hong Kong

Typhoon 09W (Vicente) is moving NNW at 7 knots passing within 70NM south of Hong Kong today with max winds of 70 knots. Hurricane force winds currently extend outward only about 15NM while gales extend outward between 85 and 105NM. Vicente is forecast to turn more westward making landfall at about 00Z 24 July.
