Tropical East Pacific remains active

Hurricane Daniel ismoving west at about 10 knots as it remains south of a building subtropicalridge. Currently Daniel remains a small storm with max winds at about 70 knots.

Farther to the east another disturbanceabout 500 miles south of Acapulco, Mexico was moving west-northwest and isexpected to become a tropical depression or tropical storm over the next day ortwo.

TS Fabio is close to becoming a hurricane some 435nm WSW of Manzanillo, Mexico as it moves WNW (300 degrees) at about 9 knots.

TS Emilia is moving West (275 degrees) at 12 knots but is forecast to weaken to a depression during the next 24-36 hour.
