Israel doesn’t care about a war of public opinion. People hate them & always have. They quit the policy of going with the flow or worrying what others thought of them when the brightest, richest, most educated people in Europe almost wiped their race from the face of the planet. I have a young, left leaning person in my household who for a little bit was more sympathetic to the people of Gaza who voted Hamas into power to be their government & leaders. I told her if she was ever kidnapped, I would never stop, never sleep, never stop fighting until she was released or her torturers were brought to justice. I would go Rambo & do it myself if my government wouldn’t fight for her. She knows it’s true & didn’t have a counterpoint for that argument.
