“A man may break a word with you, sir, and words are but wind.”
William Shakespeare
The Comedy of Errors
Standing by, waiting to dissect the meaning every time DJT breaks wind must be tiring, especially after all these years of his nonsense. Words are but wind. If I were European, or North European, I’d be more concerned about the story below. I know Finland & Sweden scrambling fighters jets to intercept Russian bombers in their airspace isn’t exciting as the 62 times the Norwegians have done it this year alone, but still discerning imo. Funny because all the Europeans who hate the US & DJT would throw themselves on the ground to beg for help & kiss DJT feet if a Russian bomber ever pressed a launch button onto one of their European targets.
No, not tiring at all. He is an entertainer that never fail to come up with, dare I say it, NONSENS on a daily basis.
It would be even more entertaining if it wasn’t for the consequences of his nonsens, not only for USA but for the entire world.
If there are any “Europeans who hate the US & DJT” they are in minority. Most just shake their head and wonder; how could this … get elected, not once but twice? Whatever it is, we just hope it is not contagious.
As to being concerned about the situation in Northern Europe, I think we all are, or should be. The idea that big nations can just “take” smaller nations are VERY dangerous. That applies not only to the Russia / Ukraine war, but to ALL such ideas.
As to Russian planes approaching, or even entering, NATO airspace is nothing new. Same goes for naval vessels, both in the Barents Sea and in the Baltic. It is a “cat and mouse game” that has been going on for decades, and it work both ways.
Will “the Europeans throw themselves on the ground to beg for help & kiss DJT feet if a Russian bomber ever pressed a launch button onto one of their European targets”.
No, they will invoke NATO’s Article 5, just like USA did on 9/11.
