Sorry John, you really bet on the wrong horse here. Believing in the NYC/NYS bureaucracy to deliver any results was your first and biggest mistake, but the bigger picture is that NYC and the region are absolutely strangled by NIMBYs and zoning. If it were possible to build multistory new industrial in inland, never mind coastal-Brooklyn and Queens, this could be a success but stuck with the existing supply of collapsing buildings, illegal loft conversions, and insane levels of red tape, you’re gonna fail. Try Hudson County, NJ.
You may be right but the reasons you state are the number one reason I didn’t want to go near nyc when we first developed the plan. We have since become convinced that the situation is rapidly changing so we are going to try but remain willing to go elsewhere if the red tape can’t be cut.
