I am 1.5 years away from graduating with an unlimited 3rd mates license and a bachelors in marine transportation. The regiment is not sh*t! As someone who is paying his own way working 40 hours a week, on top of my 22 hours a week at school, being exempt from some mindless corps activities would benefit me and my time spent greatly. I’m glad to see there is no shortage of assholes in the pipeline.
