I’m interested in different ship types. As far as I know there are approximately 100 different ship types?
Is there any website like shiptypes.com explaining the classification of the vessels?

everything is categorized there with photos of each type.
as far as the number of types…there aren’t 100 main types but with subtypes there are easily 100
main types would be
tanker
dry cargo
passenger
offshore
research
towing
misc (such as dredges)
