Sause Bros employment question

On Sause Bros. website under the employment section it said “Day-for-day accumulated time off. In essence, you will work for six months and be paid for twelve.” Is that a typical pay scale in the tug boat industry to be paid day-for-day?

Lots of tug companies pay ATO. With Sause, you earn a paid day off for every day you work. I believe the most common rotation with Sause is 45 on, 45 off. Crowley has the same arrangement on their outside tugs, the harbor guys don’t earn ATO.

Thank you for the prompt response Doug.

Hang ten, dude.

I have a good friend who works for Sause. He loves it and couldn’t be happier with the company.

I worked for Sause in Honolulu about ten years ago. I loved it. If you have specific questions feel fee to PM me.
