Gee, I might have to seek counsling for sailing on my First’s license years ago to qualify for my Chief"s.

Some folks on this forum don’t think before they type. I had to hold a first before I got my Chief, it’s a matter of the Cfr’s people are so fond of quoting here.
I’ve even been called an idiot a couple of times here. You have to have patience.
After 38+years in the business, I have skin like a rhino and the patience of a buzzard but these last couple of months before pension are a killer!
If I may clarify, I was describing a First who HAD a First license but has upgraded in the hopes of one day sailing as Chief but is stuck in hover mode because all you old farts won’t retire and get out of the way.
Duh.
Don’t blame me… I just turned 55 and only working a little extra to finish my dock and bulkhead
