According to the article, “According to AGCS, climate change will increasingly impact marine insurance claims, with more extreme weather events and new exposures linked to the transition to net-zero”.
I have not seen any significant trend in marine extreme weather events in recent years, either in the number of global hurricanes nor with the number of extratropical hurricane force storm events.
