Obviously a great deal of planning has gone into this entire operation since the beginning.

You just need to wait (for an undetermined amount of time) for the “winning” to happen.
Trump has really screwed up on this. He just needs to:
- Shut his mouth,
- Escort ships through the strait with overwhelming force, and
- Keep bombing the Islamic fundamentalist terrorists into submission or extinction.
He just needs to be a man of his word, but then he’s NEVER been a man of his word. He’s constantly said whatever pops into his head, and his supporters have willingly brushed off all the inappropriate or even illegal suggestions as just jokes or just words. This is what happens when people put their trust in a leader whose words are meaningless, whose words are mere impulses, momentary notions, with no true conviction, agenda, beliefs or steadfastness. Six of his businesses have declared Chapter 11 to avoid paying creditors what they are owed. Well you can’t start a war then declare Chapter 11.
Good leaders say what they mean and mean what they say. They don’t riff, they don’t joke about destroying civilizations, and they don’t engage in locker room talk that makes light of sexual assault. They stick to their beliefs even when it isn’t easy, while still keeping an open mind and adapting as new information comes in or when wise counsel is received. Someday I hope our Nation has a leader of that ilk.

Amazing what difference a medal can do to smooth over “small” problems.
Honestly for the right amount of gold you could get POTUS to do anything, literally ANYTHING. There is nothing that is too immoral, too unprecedented, or too against his “principles” (does he have any?) that he wouldn’t gladly compromise for the right amount of gold. There’s a reason gold is his favorite color and that as a “Christian” he’s never asked God for forgiveness.
Certain people’s attention is captured and held far more effectively by UFC fights than trying to focus on long term strategies and goals of actual wars involving global energy and geopolitics.
Because nothing illustrates “freedom” quite like Mixed Martial Arts on the South Lawn. So classy that I bet Kid Rock will get a special all expenses paid trip in a military helicopter just to attend.
