Just tried to PM someone and it said they could not receive the message because their box was full. I have never seen this before. Do you get a notification when your box is full? I have a lot of old PM’s in mine, but does that mean that I haven’t been getting PM’s because they’ve been getting bounced back? Has anyone else had this problem?
Almost as bad as when someone’s voicemail is full!

I’ve seen it before, and I frequently have to clean out my own box by moving messages to a new folder to avoid the inbox getting full. I just sent you a PM, if you got it, then your box isn’t full.

send messages also count against the total number allowed which I believe is 250
gotta clean em both
btw, there should be a colored bar below your inbox to show how many messages you have in storage and how many remain until full
gCaptain recently sent me a that my in box was full. Emptied the old PMs, and things worked again.
Had to delete all of them. Don’t know if it is possible to save any of them.
We are close to launching new premium options for the site but, until that is ready, I’ll up the number of pm’ you are allowed to save.

Relax, most likely it will still be exactly how it is now with an upgrade for paying members (more pms, larger sig and avatar, and private member forums where you can chill a bit more etc…)
With an annoying advertisement to upgrade every time that you get on. No thanks. That’s exactly the kind of thing that makes me stop using an app or website.

Premium options for a reasonable fee sounds like a great idea to me.
I would like to see a text only version of gcaptain for those of us with very slow internet on our phones.

Possibly but I still get the pop up for Tapatalk on occasion but not too bad. I’m pretty sure the staff here is aware of the Mariners tolerance for bullshit so I don’t expect too many radical changes. There isn’t a lot of buying/selling/trading on here which is what usually chews up my PM space. There may be a small banner ad to upgrade but I’ve never had it be very aggressive in any of the forums I’m on. We’ll just have to wait and see.
