After my noon watch I’m paid off the Matsonia, I booked my flight for Seattle a couple of weeks ago. Those who’ve never sailed, like our resident troll, will never know how good it feels to pay off.

I shouldn’t have read your post just before turning in last night. I woke up from a horrifying nightmare before sunrise this morning. My retirement income had been cut off and I was facing the prospect of starting from scratch again.
