After all the fuss about the LCS up-arming, it looks like the Navy has another possibility for bringing back some frigates:
Apparently, only about eight are being considered.
This article is a few years old but is dead on about a mistake being made when the frigates were mothballed to make room for the LCSs.
What’s even worse is they were never given the upgrades and replacements that they needed to stay efficient . Always liked looking out and seeing them with us on a Med cruise . Kind of filled in the blanks so to speak .
