«Sunday afternoon,« Njord A »came into Talgsjøen and is now located between Frei and Årsundøya. There it is surrounded by a number of large offshore vessels: “Siem Opal”, “Skandi Hera”, “Siem Pearl”, “Magne Viking” and “Skandi Vega”.

• The last few days we have been waiting for the weather just south of Ålesund. On Saturday, the weather forecast looked good, and we started sailing further out towards the field. However, the messages got worse over the day yesterday and we are now going inside Seivika and staying there until we get a new weather window with sufficient duration, says Sverre Kojedal, information manager at Equinor Drift Midt-Norge.

The platform sailed from Stord on the morning of Tuesday 22 March, and the journey has taken some time due to the weather not playing out completely. When the connection is to take place on the field in the Norwegian Sea, there must be good weather over several days.
